when bidding for stuff theres this phrase terned "sniping" - ie u lodge a last second bid so as to steal it frm under someone's nose...n the art of it is executing this bid at just an incremental level higher than the previous bidder

Spotted this shop when walking ard downtown SF .. went in to take a look
Shop mainly carried shows n music stuff .. only 1 little corner on games, which were limited to newer gen stuff .. in the end just bought a ps2 rockmusic game for ard 54cents
On the other hand the shop was unique in the sense tat it carried lotsa exotic n erotic stuff as well..eye opener ..haha
After the crappy trip to 8 bit, decided to visit another retro shop at downtown san jose .. called "game shop downstairs"
Took a short drive, arrived on site, parking was a bit challenging as it was downtown area.. nonetheless got a lot, but had to do a quick change for some quarters less dio summon .
Haha
The shop was located at basement .. kinda cool ..went down , saw shopkeeper, straightaway asked for turbografx games, n tat kinda stunned him ... politely said nope, only "had mainstream games" .. which i then took a look
Nothing very exciting .. n prices were kinda above average.. took some time to look look .. spotted a snes wing commander + mechwarrior , asked for discount n was given $10 in total ... not too bad, paid n left the place
Went to this shop after dropping the family off at westfield san jose .. almost missed it as it was rather inconspicuous
Upon entering the shop, noticed tat it was segmented into 2 parts - card gaming at front n retro games at back
Went into retro games section, saw mainly commons .. prices were ok though just tat they were commons ... started to rummage thru the boxes .. counter guy din really care
Spent ard 20 min to sift thru the mess .. spotted a box with a number of turbografx cases+manuals less the games (huh?) ..also picked up 2 fat gameboys ... asked the counter guy who firmly said "not for sale" ... what ?? Then wats the point of having all those boxes ard anyway ?
After couple of to n fros, still din relent.. i just picked up a dreamcast DOA2 game for 10usd n left
Not too nice an experience overall
